In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is the great battle at the end of the world. The gods meet their fate, monsters are unleashed, the heavens and earth are consumed by fire and the old world is destroyed. From the ruins, a new world rises.

Six winters have passed since The Duke first opened its doors, and every year has brought its own battles, characters, escapades and victories. So as we reach our sixth year, we thought there was only one appropriate way to mark the occasion: Ragnarök & Roll.

On October 24, The Duke will celebrate six years in Enmore with a night of rock ’n’ roll, feasting and glorious debauchery. Joining us from the southern lands are Barbarion, bringing their fearsome live show of fire, smoke, weapons, fur, leather, war paint and drinking horns. Expect thunderous riffs and a performance worthy of Valhalla. Alongside them are Valhalla Lights and Astrodeath.

There’ll be a special BBQ turkey leg fit for a warrior, a wild meats raffle, horn-blowing competition and prizes for those brave enough to enter the fray. And no feast is complete without a proper ale. We’ve joined forces with our good mates and long-time supporters at Young Henrys to brew something worthy of The Duke’s sixth birthday: Raise Your Horns, a Blood Orange IPA made exclusively for the occasion.

It's time to bring out your best battle-ready attire. Prizes for best dressed.
